region D may not win the state team title, but for a couple of years now we have been excellent with reporting results. It is too bad that other regions don't feel compelled to help out. This is not a region D site, it is for the benefit of all single A wrestling in Virginia. Let's see some results form other regions posted!

I completely agree with you. Sometimes you can go the entire year without ever really knowing about Region A. Region B is up and down and Region C and D usually are pretty good at reporting.

Does any one in the Hogoheegee want to take a stab at who will win district and the top 2 or three wrestlers in each weight class. Just a thought?

Warriorfan, how do you predict the teams to place in the district.

I think RR will win again with CH and JSB close behind.

This opinion seems pretty accurate, but I wouldn't sleep on JJ Kelly or Castlewood as far as the Region is concerned.

True but, in the match between RR and JJK, the one JJK won, RR was missing the two shillings at 171 and 130 that could have changed everything. RR has a match against CW next Wed. This will give us a better idea of how things might end up.

Castlewood has done very well in all matches this year. Don't count them out yet. When up against RR or JJK, they hold their own. Phillips at 171 has beaten Shillig twice now; Hicks has been JJK 130 each time out. Admit it folk, CW is on the path to STATE.
